The Albemarle School Colts struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Ridgecroft Rams had 12 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Albemarle School took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgecroft. Albemarle School has struggled against Ridgecroft recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Colts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Delosreyes, who scored 11 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Delosreyes, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Ridgecroft got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kate Chamblee out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chamblee has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Slaughter, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 assists.
Albemarle School dropped their record down to 10-14 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ridgecroft, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.
Albemarle School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ridgecroft also has no future games currently scheduled.
