While Northwestern didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 24-14 victory over the Monsignor Pace Spartans on Tuesday. The Bulls' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Northwestern can attribute much of their success to Jade Yacinthe, who rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards.

Northwestern didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Damaria Gatlin and Jah'Keriyah Brown. Brown got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Northwestern's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Monsignor Pace, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3.

Northwestern has already played their next match, a 27-0 win against South Miami on the 13th. As for Monsignor Pace, they will look to defend their home field on March 19th against Sports Leadership & Management at 4:00 p.m.
