East Haven lost to Wilbur Cross 24-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Sheehan fell 28-27 to Cheshire in the closest game of the week. Jeremy Gannon threw for 124 yards, ran for 45 yards and caught 5 passes for 42 yards in the loss.
Jake Kasuba threw for 336 yards and 1 touchdown. He was 26-41 with 3 interceptions.
Nick Weissauer was the best receiver in Southern Connecticut Division II - East this week as Foran lost to Shelton. Weissauer tallied 12 receptions for 149 yards. Zach White helped Foran's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 73 yards.
The Lions' Kasuba and Weissauer led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-8 quarterback Kasuba has thrown for 1,286 yards this season, while Weissauer has 34 catches for 496 yards. Sheehan's Rafael Dominguez leads the league in rushing yards with 381.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when North Haven takes on John Ferrazzi's team. The Indians are currently in first, while the Titans are in third.
North Haven led Southern Connecticut Division II - East in points allowed with 21.
