Turlock waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Gregori Jaguars. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Jaguars back in March, they had to take a 18-6 defeat.
Audrey Bailey made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Abby Maxwell was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Rylee Murphy was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
