Ross and the Hornets are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Ross Rams will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Monroe Hornets at 7:15 p.m. Ross is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, Ross came up short against the Trojans and fell 51-38. While losing is never fun, Ross can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 490th in Ohio, while the Trojans are ranked 211th in Indiana).
Meanwhile, Monroe scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 78-71 win over Northwest. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Ross dropped their record down to 6-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Monroe, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Ross came up short against the Hornets when the teams last played back in January, falling 48-36. Will Ross have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
