Lafayette Christian Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Southern Lab lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bryson Chapman, who scored 12 points. The game was Chapman's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Hardnett, who scored nine points.
The victory (which was Lafayette Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Southern Lab, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
Lafayette Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against East Ascension at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. East Ascension will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 178th, while Lafayette Christian Academy is ranked eighth). Southern Lab won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against McKinley at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th.
