The Heritage Christian Eagles can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They blew past Trinity School of Texas 44-14 on the road. The win was nothing new for Heritage Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.
Heritage Christian found their leader in underclassman Deanna Montgomery, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine steals. Montgomery is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Ali Orchard was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.
Heritage Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. As for Trinity School of Texas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing First Baptist the next time they take the court. Heritage Christian will head out to face the Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Titans will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on February 9th.
