They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Arthur-Okaw Christian 54-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Lakecrest Baptist has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Community Baptist Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 50-37 win over Immanuel Baptist. Community Baptist Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Community Baptist Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Parker Hawes out in front who scored 11 points. Kade Hunt was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Lakecrest Baptist's record is now 17-1. As for Community Baptist Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
