The Wahoo Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Plattsmouth 68-31 at home. Wahoo has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.
Wahoo got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Erin Golladay out in front who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Golladay has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lanta Hitz, who scored ten points.
Wahoo's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Plattsmouth, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wahoo will challenge Malcolm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Malcolm is ranked 50th, while Wahoo is ranked 60th). Plattsmouth will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Nebraska City at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
