The Forest Hill Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Palm Beach Gardens Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest Hill will be strutting in after a victory while Palm Beach Gardens will be coming in after a loss.
Forest Hill had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Atlantic on Thursday. Forest Hill was the clear victors by a 21-6 margin over Atlantic. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Julian DeJesus made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Forest Hill got a big performance out of David Olavarria, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Castro, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Forest Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Palm Beach Gardens didn't have quite enough to beat Jensen Beach on Friday and fell 6-5.
Palm Beach Gardens saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Vertucci, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Vertucci has become a key player for Palm Beach Gardens: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
The win (which was Forest Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 3-4. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 8.67 hits in those games compared to only 3.5 in the others. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Forest Hill might still be hurting after the 15-5 loss they got from Palm Beach Gardens when the teams last played back in April of 2022. Can Forest Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
