The Rocky Mount Academy Eagles stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Faith Christian at home to the tune of 64-19. Rocky Mount Academy is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 11 straight.
Rocky Mount Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylor Carmichael led the charge by scoring 18 points. Carmichael hasn't dropped below 15 points for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Jessica Proctor, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Rocky Mount Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Faith Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
