Windsor is a perfect 7-0 against Greeley West since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wizards will square off against the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Windsor has four straight victories, Greeley West has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Saturday, Windsor needed a bit of extra time to put away George Washington. They had just enough and edged out the Patriots 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wizards have posted since April 29, 2024.
Ethan Fillinger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

Windsor pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Greeley West, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
Windsor's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's match. The Wizards have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Greeley West, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Windsor continue to outrun the ball?
Windsor took their victory against Greeley West in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Wizards repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
