Carroll is 9-1 against Rehobeth since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Carroll Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Rehobeth Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Carroll focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Carroll, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-40 loss to Charles Henderson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carroll in their matchups with Charles Henderson: they've now lost seven in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Devon Pruitt, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was N'jia Gosha, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Even though Rehobeth has not done well against Headland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Rehobeth walked away with a 68-55 victory over Headland. Winning may never get old, but Rehobeth sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Carroll has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season. As for Rehobeth, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Carroll strolled past Rehobeth in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 70-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carroll since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
