The victory made it two in a row for La Vernia and bumps their season record up to 21-10. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Uvalde, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-18.
La Vernia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-35 loss against Fredericksburg on the 13th. Uvalde does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
