Somerset Tech took a hard 77-58 fall against Central Jersey College Prep on Wednesday. Somerset Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Central Jersey College Prep found their leader in underclassman Carter Staton, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. The match was Staton's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javan Edmunds, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Somerset Tech now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Central Jersey College Prep, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Somerset Tech will be playing at home against Bound Brook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Jersey College Prep will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against North Warren Regional at 1:45 p.m. on Friday.
