The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Silverdale Academy was the better team in the second half.
Leading Silverdale Academy to victory were Caleb Greco and Landon Deitch. Greco rushed for 194 yards and a touchdown, while Deitch rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns.
Silverdale Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points per game. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silverdale Academy will face off against Franklin Road Academy on Friday. Franklin Road Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Silverdale Academy in Tennessee (Franklin Road Academy is ranked 34th, while Silverdale Academy is ranked 174th). As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will head out on the road to face off against Christ Presbyterian Academy on Friday. Christ Presbyterian Academy will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
