Founders Classical Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Savannah Whyle out in front who scored 20 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Whyle has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Penelope Whyle, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Sunnybrook Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.0 points per game. As for Founders Classical Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunnybrook Christian will take on Salem Sayers Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sunnybrook Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Founders Classical Academy, they will be playing at home against Lifegate Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
