Addie Humble was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Layne Forgey was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Rains, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.
