Liberty Preparatory Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Braxton Turner out in front who scored 12 points. Turner also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Caden Ward was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
The win got Liberty Preparatory Christian back to even at 4-4. As for Providence Classical, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Preparatory Christian will challenge Community School of Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Community School of Davidson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Liberty Preparatory Christian in North Carolina (Community School of Davidson is ranked 142nd, while Liberty Preparatory Christian is ranked 571st).
