Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Fishers Tigers walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over the Greyhounds on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fishers also won the last time the pair played on January 16th.
Leading Fishers to victory were Talia Harris and Allison Scheu. Harris almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds, while Scheu scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Roberts, who scored five points.
Fishers is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Carmel, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Fishers' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Millers at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. One thing working in Noblesville's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games. Carmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
