Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Genesee). They blew past the Highland Huskies 55-27 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Genesee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Bollman, who went 5 of 11 en route to 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Bollman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Banks, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points and five rebounds.
Genesee's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Highland, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
Genesee will take on Deary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland has already played their next contest (against Colton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
