Horseshoe Bend got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaelun Jones out in front who scored 17 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Nic Cooper was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Salmon River's loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Horseshoe Bend, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salmon River will face off against the Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Garden Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 519 points over their last eight games. As for Horseshoe Bend, they will head out on the road to face off against the Ramblers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
