Highlands Christian came up short against Jupiter Christian, falling 16-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, David Posnack Jewish Day won against Katz Yeshiva two weeks ago with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. David Posnack Jewish Day sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-15 victory over North Miami Beach. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.
Asher Belfer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Zachary Fischer was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Shapiro, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
David Posnack Jewish Day's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Highlands Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
