Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tippecanoe). They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 77-40 victory over the Greenville Green Wave. Given the Red Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Green Wave are ranked 762nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Green Wave players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Barr, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Hamilton, who posted seven points.

Tippecanoe's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Greenville, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tippecanoe will take on Shawnee at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greenville, they will square off against Butler at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
