Finally capturing their first win of the season, Independence advanced to 1-6. The defeat dropped Northlake Christian's record to 1-5.
Independence will be playing at home against Pine at at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike Independence, Pine will be limping in after taking a loss. Northlake Christian will be playing at home against St. Thomas Aquinas at at 7:00 PM. St. Thomas Aquinas also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their match this week, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
