Indianapolis Washington lost against Indiana School for the Deaf in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 51-37 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Indianapolis Washington lost, one person who can't be blamed is Malaysha Flanagan. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points. The contest was Flanagan's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michelle Martin, who scored seven points.
Indianapolis Washington has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indianapolis Washington won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Eminence at 12:00 p.m. on January 6th.
