There's no place like home for Whiteville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 65-57 victory over the Scotland Fighting Scots on Friday. The Wolfpack's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Scotland's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jerrison Dixon, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. Dixon continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tomek McFadden, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Whiteville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Scotland, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Whiteville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-45 win against West Columbus on the 28th. As for Scotland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-36 victory against Dillon Christian on the 28th.
