There's no place like home for Bend, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Century Jaguars with a sharp 15-5 win on Friday. The Lava Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Century, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-4.

Bend has already played their next contest (against Hillsboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Century, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 win against Sprague on the 4th.
