The Perry County Vikings will be playing at home against the Collinwood Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Perry County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
In what's become a running theme this season, Perry County gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They really took it to Hughes for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-21 victory on the road. The win was just what Perry County needed coming off of a 49-29 defeat in their prior match.
Perry County had a senior duo take command as Cianna Wilson scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five steals and Maddi Wright scored 14 points along with five assists. Wilson hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristan Duncan, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Collinwood had to suffer through a rough 64-35 loss at the hands of Wayne County. Collinwood has struggled against Wayne County recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Perry County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Collinwood, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.
