The Aloha Warriors will head out on the road to face off against Nelson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Aloha took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Hillsboro with a sharp 9-3 victory. Considering the Warriors have won three games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ava Cruz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nellie Foust, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Sophia File also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Aloha kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Nelson came out on top against Lebanon on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run third inning. Nelson was the clear victor by a 17-5 margin over Lebanon. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Nelson's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Rylee Erickson was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Alyvia Pietsch was another key player, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Aloha's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Nelson, their record now sits at 7-3.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Aloha hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. However, it's not like Nelson struggles in that department as they've averaged .363. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Aloha suffered a grim 15-5 defeat to Nelson when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
