Ferris will challenge Barringer on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Ferris come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Ferris took a serious blow against Belleville last Friday, falling 0-50. Ferris's defeat came about despite a quality game from junior Esaw Jamison, who picked up 85 yards on the ground.
After a string of three wins, Barringer's good fortune finally ran out. Barringer didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 6-12 to West Side.
Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
