Wyatt Whittley produced his best game of the campaign on Thursday: he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with one or fewer walks. For the year, he has an ERA of 7.22 over 11.2 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Whittley and Cherryvale will challenge Bluestem at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long.
