Caldwell has gone a perfect 7-0 against River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Redskins will challenge the Pilots at 1:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.
River will be up against a hot Caldwell team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Redskins put the hurt on Southern with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-13.

Caldwell can attribute much of their success to Aubrey Kress, who had six digs and six aces, and Addysyn Leake, who had five digs. That's the most aces Kress has posted since back in September.
They weren't the only good servers: Caldwell was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, River got the win against Clay-Battelle on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Pilots haven't had any issues with the Cee-Bees recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Caldwell better keep an eye on Aubrey Fetty. She was instrumental in River's win, getting 16 digs and two assists. Fetty is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Caldwell's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for River, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's match: Caldwell has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 11.3 aces per game. However, it's not like River struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Caldwell's way against River when the teams last played back in September, as Caldwell made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Redskins repeat their success, or do the Pilots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
