Kenai Central won the last time they faced Homer and things went their way on Monday too. The Kardinals blew past the Mariners 7-1. The result was nothing new for Kenai Central, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Homer from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Brynnen Hanson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Kenai Central's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five matchups. As for Homer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
