The Nuview Bridge Knights are on the road again on Thursday and play against the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on December 7th. Nuview Bridge comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Thursday, Nuview Bridge didn't have quite enough to beat Hamilton and fell 19-17.
Meanwhile, San Jacinto Valley Academy took a serious blow against Santa Rosa Academy on Tuesday, falling 67-37. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for San Jacinto Valley Academy in their matchups with Santa Rosa Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.
Jacob Fisher put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds. He scored a full 40.5% of San Jacinto Valley Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The last time Nuview Bridge won on the road was back back in November. Having now lost three straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.7 points per game. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Nuview Bridge didn't have too much breathing room in their match against San Jacinto Valley Academy when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory.
