It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the North Haven Nighthawks had no problem doing just that on Sunday. They didn't even let the Warriors onto the board and left with a 21-0 win. Considering North Haven has won six contests by more than 20 points this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.
North Haven got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adam Pandolfi out in front who rushed for 148 yards while picking up 9.3 yards per carry.
The victory was the fifth in a row for North Haven, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points per game. As for Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
North Haven is on the road again on Saturday and play against Wilton at 10:30 a.m. on December 9th. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Wilton: 11, North Haven: 10.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
