On Friday, everything went Braden River's way against the Vikings as the Pirates made off with a 47-22 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Braden River just coasted through the last quarter.
Braden River was led to victory by Kelis Mcgrady and Emily Dalton. Mcgrady scored nine points along with four steals, while Dalton scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Dalton hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Helton, who scored six points.
Braden River is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. As for Northeast, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
Braden River and the Pirates will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Boca Ciega has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Northeast, they will be playing at home against the Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Hollins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Thursday.
