The Oakbrook Prep Knights lost against the Greenville H Hurricanes back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Oakbrook Prep had to suffer through a rough 71-7 loss at the hands of Greenville H. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oakbrook Prep in their matchups with Greenville H: they've now lost eight in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenville H to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keely Price, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Price set a new season high mark in assists with five. Another player making a difference was Emery Lindsey, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Oakbrook Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Greenville H, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakbrook Prep will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against High Point Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for Greenville H, they will face off against Bob Jones Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
