Soccer Game Preview: Charlotte vs. Eastern

Charlotte is a perfect 4-0 against Eastern since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Orioles will host the Quakers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Charlotte and ten for Eastern.

Charlotte came up short against Portland on Thursday, falling 6-2.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eastern's offense. They lost 9-0 to St. Johns on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Eastern can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 428th, while St. Johns are ranked 200th).

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Charlotte, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Charlotte took their win against Eastern in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Orioles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Quakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
