The Bob Jones Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 46-33 to Hazel Green. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bob Jones has scored all season.
It was another big night for Jalen Bright, who scored 12 points along with three steals for Hazel Green. The team also got some help courtesy of JT Thomas, who scored four points.
Bob Jones has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Hazel Green, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Bob Jones won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Madison Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 9th. Madison Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Bob Jones likes a good challenge. As for Hazel Green, they will head out on the road to face off against Mae Jemison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mae Jemison focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
