Volleyball Recap: Union Pines Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

If Jack Britt wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Union Pines, they should've done a better job of containing Madelyn Perkins. The Vikings skirted past the Buccaneers 3-2 thanks in part to Perkins, who had seven digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Union Pines wouldn't go down easily and took Jack Britt into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-16, 25-13, 18-25, 15-12.

When it comes to explaining why Jack Britt lost on Wednesday, don't look at Elynoeh Cuevas-Vidal. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and four assists.

Union Pines has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
