Grace Community's lone touchdown came on a 2-yard run by Chandler Nutt in the third quarter.
The victory will ease some of the sting of Dallas Christian's close 28-27 loss to Grace Community (Tyler, Texas) last season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Grace Community, who notched a 42-28 victory over Kemp in its previous outing. With the win DC extended its winning streak to four games. The loss snapped Grace Community's three-game winning streak.
In a TAPPS Division II District 2 game next week Grace Community (3-1) takes on Trinity Christian, and Dallas Christian (4-0) will go up against Parish Episcopal also in a TAPPS Division II District 2 game.
