Bayside had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They managed a 34-30 win over the Cardozo Judges on Thursday. The Commodores' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bayside's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Cardozo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bayside will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Queens Complex at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
