Liberty Christian Wins 19th-Straight Thanks to Gideon Davidson
Liberty Christian picked up their 19th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Gideon Davidson. Davidson was dynamite, rushing for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Rustburg, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Davidson. When Davidson last faced the Red Devils back in November of 2023, he rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

Max Calloway produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Glass to the win on Friday. Calloway threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Calloway has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 154.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to three.

Another Amherst County player making an appearance on this list is Devonte Wade. He rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown.
