Dighton posted their biggest win since February 9, 2024 on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 51-28 margin over the St. Francis Indians. With the Hornets ahead 35-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Despite the loss, St. Francis still got an impressive performance from Delaney Myers, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points and four steals. Myers is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

Dighton's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-5. As for St. Francis, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
