Last Tuesday, Pataula Charter Academy was beaten by Calhoun County 86-27. Pataula Charter Academy has not had much luck with Calhoun County recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Terrell County entered their tilt with Early County with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Terrell County walked away with a 83-74 victory over Early County on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Terrell County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shaheed Huckaby, who scored 24 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Huckaby has scored at least 25% of Terrell County's points. Another player making a difference was Michael Carter, who scored 17 points.
Seminole County's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Pataula Charter Academy's loss dropped theirs to 3-2.
Pataula Charter Academy might still be hurting after the 60-39 defeat they got from Terrell County in their previous matchup back in January. Can Pataula Charter Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
