Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glencliff to victory, but perhaps none more so than D'Azjon Dowell, who scored 15 points along with 5 assists. Dowell continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jeremy Polk was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 3 steals.
Macon County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Glencliff, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Macon County will take on Westmoreland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westmoreland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Macon County in Tennessee (Westmoreland is ranked 61st, while Macon County is ranked 247th). Glencliff won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Overton at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Overton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
