School of the Ozarks has been on the road for four straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Everton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
On Saturday, School of the Ozarks came up short against Classical and fell 43-36.
Meanwhile, Everton also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to McAuley Catholic by a score of 55-44. Everton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, Everton saw an underclassman step up: Olivia Sartin almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Makiya Heim, who scored six points.
School of the Ozarks' defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Everton, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
Everything went School of the Ozarks' way against Everton in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as School of the Ozarks made off with a 46-23 victory.
