Greenland was the 7-4 winner over Providence Academy when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates lost 16-6 to the Patriots on Monday. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Greenland's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Providence Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenland will square off against County Line at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence Academy, they will challenge Union Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.38 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
