The University Trojans won against the Rouse Raiders last Friday with 27 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. University came out on top against Rouse by a score of 27-19. The win made it back-to-back wins for University.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cade Bynnom, who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. London Smith did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards and a touchdown.
University has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Rouse, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.
University will take on Pflugerville Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pflugerville Connally is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Rouse, they will head out on the road to face off against Pflugerville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pflugerville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 765th, while Rouse is ranked 254th).
